13 Sierra Leoneans Depart on Tuesday to Study General Medicine in Russia

Freetown, Monday October 28 2019 - The latest batch of Sierra Leonean students nominated by the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE) to study in Russia will depart the shores of Sierra Leone on Tuesday October 29 2019.

This set of thirteen (13) citizens were nominated to study General Medicine awarded by the RUDN University.

They are due to arrive in Moscow on Wednesday October 30 2019.

The Sierra Leone Embassy in Moscow has been accordingly informed, in a letter signed by Emmanuel M. Sandi, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.

It could be recalled that the thirteen awardees were subjected to rigorous scrutiny to ascertain their academic fitness for the course ahead of their nominations.

Their tickets and other traveling documents have been handed over to them by the Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Mr. Gilbert Cooper at a brief ceremony today in the ministry.
